A downloadable game

It's an emergency! There are several emergencies waiting to be solved, and all you have on hand are five items that seemingly won't do the trick...but they will if you think hard! Every turn, you must use one of your items to solve the emergency in a realistic manner, but once you use an item, you cannot use it again. You may have to improvise using items in ways you'd never think would be suitable for solving such an emergency...If you cannot come up with a solution using your chosen item, or you can't figure out which card you allocated which item to, you're out. The last one standing, or the first one to run out of items, is the winner! There are two ways to play this game, either by having everyone being able to see their cards, or having to lay their cards face-down and hope they pick the one they want!

This game was originally built as part of module CT7112 of the University of Gloucester.

One of the main lessons this game is intended to teach players about is the last stage of grief, known as acceptance. This is the stage where people accept their losses, and start to adapt their lives around them.
