Realization

This prototype zine contains instructions for playing a card game designed to help people accept that denial is a natural part of grief.  To score points, you must enter your pet cards into trick cards, but will you realize that one or more of your pets could have died?

This game was originally built as part of Module CT7112 of the University of Gloucester.

Denial is when someone does not realize that the loved one they lost is gone forever. It is a natural function of the brain that helps minimize the damage to mental health caused by a loss.
